Shoot.

Yesterday, I had a photoshoot with my band Disciple 32.
It went really well and the photographer, Jordan, was a sound guy. We're just waiting for our chosen shots to be edited so we can put them up on Myspace.

We're on his flickr too; a taster as to what's to come!

Snow.

The whole country has ground to a halt due to the snow. Fair enough, we don't exactly get it often but it's causing so many problems. I couldn't get into college for a week and it refrained me from getting the last minute guidance I needed for my Music exam. That was the opitimal turning point of my feelings towards snow. I do love it but only when I'm going snowboarding, when you expect the snow and use it for the best purpose possible on some of the best gradients ever. This was just a big mess and it really annoyed me. Thankfully, the country seems to be removing its tampon and getting back into some kind of acceptable order.

Any who, I must add that Avatar in 3D is utterly magnificant! I thoroughly enjoyed it and I would definately recommend it to anyone who, wrongly, hasn't seen it yet! You can completely understand the amount of time it took to make it; waiting for the technology was extremely worth it.

Gig tomorrow night; fairly excited. Hitting new ground; Huddersfield.

Stay classy, folks.

Update

Ok, so I haven't blogged in a while. Missing out the important dates of Christmas and New Years.
DOH!

Here's a quick update;

On the 9th, I played my first gig with Disciple 32. It went alright but we were rather trapped in the headlights when Phil's Pod died on us just as we were about to go on stage. Marvellous. Fortunately, it started working again after 15 minutes of poking and prodding it. I went insane on the last song- good old D 'n' B for 'ya!

I had two Christmas meals with friends, both on the same day. Pig-style, yet rewarding I must say. First one was at Nandos. I never turn that breast down. Second one was at The A-Team's pianist/violinist's house. To you and much simpler, at Rachel's.
Oh god. The food was lovely especially my chocolate fudge cake that totally wasn't helped to be made by Sainsbury's...carrying that around Leeds was not fun. Fudge sliding all over the shop. Like a massive toilet explosion. Yum.
I may have had a bit too much wine; there is an o-so-flattering video of my dancing to Daft Punk. All I say is, you might as well start early!

Then there was CHRISTMAS DAY! My family came round and we had the usual meal and fun. Except this year, I got DRUMS! WAHOO! And, I also taught my one and a half year old cousin Freya some grooves. Now I know what its like to be a teacher- sharing the knowledge (that may not, by all accounts, be the best) makes you feel a little warmer inside.
Then Boxing Day at Papa's. Went to Leeds, to the sales. Yes. That is correct. Primark had a sale (why?!) so it was pikeys gone wild and Topshop was rammed with middle class bitches. So I gladly avoided those.
Got a nice top from Levi's but Vivienne Westwood was shut. Never impressed when that happens.

Then we travel to New Years. I went to the pub to start with some friends, one got a little too merry, bless her and after the countdown we hit tha' toooon. Until two. Yeah, hardcore.
Police were everywhere, holding back drunken bitches hair whilst they puked in their hands. Yay for class and yay for the merry city.

I've used bitches twice now (well, three). I must really feel for them.

I think I'm up to date now...
Next thing on the agenda; On the plus side, lots of gigs but on the down side, I have a Music exam in just over a week. Crap.
